The Asus Chromebook Flip C434: 2-in-1 Laptop
The Asus Chromebook Flip C434 is a new addition to Asus’s lineup of 2-in-1 laptops. The Asus Chromebook Flip C434 has an attractive design, a vivid 1080p display, and all-day battery life. These features make the Asus Chromebook Flip C434 stand out from its competitors in the Chrome OS laptop market. Scroll down for more information on this product! For those looking for a tablet that can also function as your laptop. This is one of the best options you’ll find. Not only does it have great features and performance but at such an affordable price! Price and Configuration Options The base model we reviewed costs $569 and comes equipped with an Intel Core m3-8100Y CPU, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB eMMC storage. Asus will also offer the Flip C434 which has a higher capacity battery for longer-lasting power in your workday needs! According to an Asus representative, the Core i5 version is expected in May and will cost around $650. The Core 7 model launched this June for up to $700! Asus Chromebook Flip C434 Design The Flip C434 is one of the most compact 14-inch laptops we’ve tested, with barely-there bezels and an 87% screen-to-body ratio. The Flip C434’s design won’t blow you away, but the uniform silver/chrome aesthetic at least does enough to distinguish itself from MacBook’s look. We couldn’t say this about its predecessor though! When in tablet mode, the C434 can be flipped to turn itself into a tent. With its slim and lightweight design, the Chromebook Flip C424 is perfect for those who travel often. At 12.6 x 8 x 0.6 inches with 3 pounds of weight, it can easily slip into your carry-on bag or backpack without weighing you down! The 12.3-inch HP Chromebook x2 (0.6 inches, 3 pounds) is about as large and heavy as the Flip C434. Asus Chromebook Flip C434 Durability and Drop test We tested 11 popular Chromebooks to find which are the most and least durable. Sadly, the Asus chrome book flip c434 got dead last in our durability test with severe damage to its aluminum chassis, broken touchpad buttons from 2 feet onto carpet 4 .5 ft drop, screen cracked when dropped on concrete at various heights – resulting in blocks of dead pixels! The Flip C434 is a really cool toy, but you want to be extra careful when giving it away. If your child likes our video they may ask for one! Asus Chromebook Flip C434 Ports The ports on the Chromebook C434’s slim chassis may be few and far between, but it still offers all of your essential needs. The design of the server offers a wealth of ports for your convenience. On one side, you have two USB 3.1 Type-A connectors and on the other, there is also an sd card slot! Both USB-C ports support charging, so you can plug in from either side of this Flip C434. Asus Chromebook Flip C434 Display With such slim bezels on this machine, I was drawn to the Flip C434’s 14-inch screen. It has a 1080p resolution and adequate brightness for reading text in dim lighting conditions or watching videos at nighttime without having bright lights shining directly into your face. You’ll want to watch this one with your eyes closed. The bright colors and chevron detective cap are enough to make you think of Puss in Boots, but when they’re mixed together on Detective Pikachu’s furry head it all becomes a little too much for me! The 14-inch display covers 93% of the sRGB color gamut, according to our colorimeter. While it may not have as vibrant a panel as some other models on this list from companies like HP and ASUS – who both offer screens with nearly twice its brightness rating-, the Chromebook Flip C434 still manages an impressive 114%. The Flip C434’s display similarly falls in the middle of the pack for brightness. With a peak rating of 286 nits, this screen may not seem as luminous when compared with other Chromebooks (235 or even 403). However, it still comes out on top when looking at all three models; more than enough to see what you’re doing! Asus Chromebook Flip C434 Keyboard and Touchpad The thin and light Flip C434 offers a solid typing experience, despite its low-travel keys. From 1 to 2 mm of key travel is our preference! I have been using the Meg Keys for a few days now and they are great! The keys feel nice with just enough force to give them that tactile click, but not so much as it is difficult. It would be best if you prefer lighter clicks yourself though because they felt sticky when typing on this keyboard.” I typed at a speed of 119 words per minute with an accuracy rate of 95%. I am very pleased with this result, but it’s not quite the high standard that my previous tests have shown.” The touchpad on the Flip C434 was responsive but sometimes jumpy. It responded quickly to my swipes and taps as I browsed the web with Chrome OS gestures like pinch-to-zoom or two-finger swipe for moving back and forth between pages without any problems at all! Asus Chromebook Flip C434 Audio The Flip C434’s speakers are loud and clear, but they don’t have the deep bass tone of some other headphones I’ve tested. However, the vocals sounded bright without any distortion even during a chaotic chorus from Glass Animals’ “Pools.” The piano chords in Sampha’s ballad sounded distorted, which is a shame because the otherwise-excellent sound quality was highlighted by the clarity of the emotive falsetto. Asus Chromebook Flip C434 Performance The Intel Core m3-8100Y and 4GB of RAM in our review unit gave me plenty of room to browse the web while running simple tasks. I watched a 1080p stream of Israel’s failed moon landing without any problems, even with three other HD videos streaming at once! There is some minor lag when switching between tabs
